C. David Hess

David Hess has been the pastor of our church since April, 1998. He is a native West Virginian and a graduate of Berea College. He has received Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary ("When," he says, "it was a good seminary.")

He has served pastorates in Hamilton, NY; Glenwood, NJ; Kuttawa, KY.; and Carrolton, KY. When in college he served as a student summer missionary to Trinidad.

He shares his home with his Keeshond, Buster. View a video of Buster as a puppy.

Rev. Hess has constructed and maintains several web sites. Among them are the web sites of the American Baptist Churches of the Rochester/Genesee Region. and the American Baptist Churches of New York State. He also provides and operates the Religious News Ticker, a religious news service which is provided free to any who wish to use it on their web site.
